About Us

Hello, my name is James and I live on a small acreage farm in Texas with my two teenage kids and my retired mother.  We have owned this property for about three years at this point and it has definitely been a blessing after moving from a big city.  Some people may love the city life but it is not for me.  I still do the majority of my business as a handyman in the city though, since that is where most of the work is. The freedom out here is wonderful, but with that freedom comes the responsibility of building and maintaining everything on the farm, on top of running my Handyman Service.

My dream is to learn everything I need to know to help my family and community prosper should our technology one day fail us or our economy crumble.  I am a prepper to a point but my hoarded stock will eventually be depleted and there are only so many people you can efficiently prep to take care of.  Knowing how to be self sufficient and sharing that knowledge with our community and our loved ones is how we make it through the tough times. The old saying “Give a man a fish and feed him for a day, but teach a man to fish and you will feed him for a lifetime” is how I am trying to live my life, and hopefully change others’ lives for the better.  I hope you enjoy joining me on this journey and I sincerely hope you gain something from this site.
